FAQs
Do you have chairs in the amphitheater?
We do have chairs for patrons so you do not need to bring your own. That said, sometimes people will bring their own chairs because they find them more comfortable than the seats we have. But we do have chairs.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
We sell tickets at the show starting at 5pm. We accept cash, check or credit cards. You can also buy tickets at the Camden Public Library during library hours, starting on July 1.
Can I bring a picnic?
Yes, spectators are free to picnic before or during the show.
Is there a restroom?
Patrons are welcome to use the Camden Library restrooms during library hours. We also have two portable toilets on site.
What happens if it rains?
We never cancel a show in Camden. If rain is expected, we perform indoors at St. Thomas’s Episcopal Church at 33 Chestnut Street in Camden. The shows in Monson and Bath are weather permitting, because there is no rain space at those venues.
How can I buy tickets for the Bath and Monson shows?
Tickets for the Bath show will be sold at the show, starting at 5pm on the day of the show. Tickets for the Monson show can be purchase through Center Theatre.
Is the show appropriate for kids?
The show is not aimed at kids, but we hope the show accessible to everyone. This show, The Tempest, has magic in it, which should appeal to kids - in addition to The Tempest’s story of shipwrecks, spirits, monsters. and clowns. And there will be a magic show prior to the start of each performance.
What is the running time of the show?
The show runs 90 minutes with no intermission. Although we try to start right at 6pm, we sometime start a few minutes after. Either way, the show will finish 90 minutes after it starts.
Can I bring a dog?
Well-behaved, quiet dogs are welcome at the shows, if we are outside in the amphitheater. Dogs are not allowed indoors at the rain space.
